Through a blend of engaging lectures, reflective exercises, and community interaction, you'll learn to harness the power of resilience, growth mindset, and well-being to navigate the challenges of science education.
The transition to university-level science education can be demanding, both academically and personally. By developing a strong foundation in resilience, growth mindset, and well-being, you'll be better prepared to thrive in the face of setbacks, embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, and maintain a healthy, balanced approach to your studies and life.
This 4-session course is delivered through a combination of live lectures, online exercises, and community engagement on the iFlourishWell4Life Mighty Network app. Each session focuses on a key aspect of resilience, growth, and well-being, providing you with practical strategies and tools for personal development.

Introduce yourself and share one wellness habit you'd like to develop (30 minutes).
The science behind pre-exam rituals. Strategies for cultivating self-efficacy and self-affirmation.
Implement a pre-exam ritual (30 minutes). Complete the "Kill Automatic Negative Thoughts (ANTs)" activity (30 minutes). Design a personalized affirmation exercise (30 minutes).
Share your favorite motivational quote or success story in the chat (30 minutes).
The Mindset Continuum. Strategies for developing a growth mindset. The role of effort and challenges.
Complete the Growth Mindset Continuum self-assessment (30 minutes). Reflect on the "20 Guidelines to Developing a Growth Mindset" (1 hour).
Share a personal story of growth through effort in the forum (30 minutes).
The 4S Resilience Plan. Strategies for building energy reserves.
Complete the Holmes-Rahe Life Stress Inventory (10 minutes). Perform an Energy Management Audit (15 minutes). Develop a personalized 4S Resilience Plan (1 hour).
Pair up with an accountability partner to share and refine your 4S plan (1 hour).
Reflect on your growth and progress over the course
